This garden and its design have matured over the last six years. The initial requirements have all been met:

  •  Some relief from the intense sun
  •  Plants resistant to wind, sun, and intense cold in the winter
  •  Mix of perennials and annuals, native plantings

A vertical herb garden was added this year, much to the delight of the owners. All of the planters are now on an automatic watering system, reducing much of the burden of insuring that the sun does not get the better of the garden! A relaxing get-away in the heart of the city!
