A modern residence that was filled with enough charm to call it…. home.
Inspired by the existing kitchen floor-to-ceiling wall cabinet Shaker door pattern, grid pattern detailed board-and-batten was used in the living room and dining room walls to create an alternate left-right-left sequence. This application both defined and unified the open-concept ground floor plan.
The foyer was treated with a wow-factor agate wall paper pattern from Candice Olson.
A mid-pastel color palette for accessories was agreed to with the clients. Teal blue and gold color accents unified the newly-defined spaces.
“We just finished our third project with O.A. I. Concept / Roger and we had another great experience working with him! Roger guided us through the entire project, he accommodated all our requests and made excellent choices for us. Always available, whether for a phone call, for providing details, for shopping, for delivery to our door, always on budget, with attention to every detail. We are very satisfied with the result and will definitely hire him for any future projects. Thank you Roger!”
The final design touch to the dining room was the wall art that was created for the space. A large wallpaper mural was selected and a frame was built by a talented tradesman. Hidden lighting was used to highlight the colors in the created art piece. The lighting color is programmable depending on the mood desired. The clients love the final effect!
The powder room was also treated with a Candice Olson textured watercolor-effect wallpaper on all four walls.
